Recreational retail cannabis stores are coming. Marijuana is legal in Michigan but that doesn’t mean you can smoke it just anywhere.The rules are Adults age 21 and over can possess cannabis and consume it in a private setting.
There aren’t retail recreational cannabis stores open yet, there will be some soon…but in the meantime it means if you want to obtain some recreational marijuana right now, you have to receive it as a gift from someone because it is illegal to sell it still…unless you’re the government that have been putting people in jail and taking their belongings for decades or you pay the government for a license to do so.

Recreational 101
When the retail store open consumers will be allowed to buy up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana at one time not more than 15 grams of marijuana concentrate which are the limits one can carry on them. You’re allowed to keep up to 10 ounces of marijuana flower as long as it’s stored in a secured place.
