New recreational cannabis ordinance would allow for unlimited licenses in Warren
City Council attorney says plan is likely the only solution to ongoing litigation. After six years of litigation, an ordinance allowing unlimited recreational marijuana licenses is on the horizon in Warren.
As one reddit user said “We’re about to be able to see Warren from space with all of the LEDs.”
(WXYZ) — Warren City Council’s initial approval to allow an unlimited number of recreational marijuana shops to open in the city isn’t a done deal.
But a local business owner says it’s finally about time they’re close to a decision.
“I do not think that unlimited licenses are helpful and beneficial for the neighborhoods and I’m not confident that the city has been maintaining the grow facilities already in the city,” said Lori Harris, a concerned resident.
