Greedy weed dealer kingpins in Michigan and Ohio going down the rabbit hole

A proposed Ohio Senate bill would see the current marijuana law in the state essentially replaced with measures that would see a tax hike, changes to the licenses, and more.

Senate Bill 56, proposed by Senator Stephen Huffman, would increase the current tax amount from 10% to 15%, with all of the revenue going to the Ohio general revenue fund. That would eliminate the portions of the current tax that go towards municipal corporations or townships.

The THC percentage would also change. Currently, cannabis THC is set at no less than 35% for plant material and 90% for extracts. The bill would change that to 35% for plant material and 70% for extracts.
