Climate Change Activists In Detroit March Down Woodward

Today’s climate – Perfect for many people to skip school and work to participate in the Global Climate Strike. In Detroit they gathered and marched down Woodward to demand that leaders deal with climate change.

Several hundred people gathered at Grand Circus Park in Detroit then marched down Woodward, stopping at Hart Plaza to listen to speeches and express their concerns.

They marched together with a police escort calling for a Green New Deal, held various signs with statements such as “System Change, Not Climate Change” “I want to be a T-REX but I don’t want to go out like one,” and “There is no planet B”.
