Shhh…Can you hear it? The prices are falling again.
No, they are not $5 bucks for a big ole bag. Soon one could imagine. Especially if they keep handing out licenses.
The average retail price for an ounce of recreational marijuana flower dropped to near$65 in February 2025, representing a decline of nearly 30% from about $92 in February 2024, and this marks a continuation of the overall downward trend in prices that has been observed since sales commenced in Michigan in December 2019, as reported in a recent monthly publication by Michigan’s Cannabis Regulatory Agency.
Total sales of recreational marijuana products in Michigan fell to $241 million in February, down from $247 million in January and $259 million in February of the previous year, according to the report, even though the total amount of products sold last month was greater than in February 2023.
