According to the Marijuana Regulatory Agency (MRA) medical marijuana patients in Michigan could have the wrong dosage label on their products after a cannabis testing lab released inaccurate THC test results.
The MRA issued an public health and safety advisory stating The Spott in Kalamazoo entered inaccurate potency results into the statewide monitoring system between May 3, 2019, and July 11, 2019.
The Spott is a licensed safety compliance facilities in the state, according to the MRA.

The agency stated that the labels on the product were inaccurate and patients should check the labels on the products to see if they were tested by The Spott during that time period.
The MRA noted patients should be aware that the actual level of THC in the products could be higher or lower than what the label indicates.
The state did not recall the products.
The agency said it worked closely with The Spott to add quality controls to the lab to ensure the problem does not happen again.
