Dispensary replacing school? Not this time.
A long-closed elementary school site in the small village of Pinckney was intended to become Livingston County’s first recreational marijuana business; however, the former Pinckney Elementary School is now back on the market.
Construction on The Means Project, a retail, grow, and processing facility located at 935 M-36, stalled nearly two years ago. Progress seemed to resume after the resolution of a legal dispute between the former project partners.
It is now listed for sale at $3.5 million.
The former school’s future is now back up in the air as it sits vacant and gutted.
