Free the Weed – How about a free license

If you could read their minds…they are probably singing.

We gotta get out of this place…If it’s the last thing we ever do.

Politicians are, as politicians do.

Like always greed and overspending cause the government to create more, regulate, add fees, raise prices, add convienence fees, add percentage fees, install mandatory fees and a fee for the fee on top of that fee.

Don’t worry it’s not a raise in your taxes. That’s a different story.

And now they will destroy the cannabis market with oversaturation of licensing, fees and taxes.  They will amend the laws the people voted in to give them more control and take more. They will run both the sales of what they once called a drug and control their street corner with taxpayer law enforcement.

They will sell it to you and throw you in jail at the same time. For it is still a controlled substance in Michigan and Federal at the time of this writing.

Oh yeah… and the fed IRS wants their cut too.

So the drug war still continues.

Rafiei, the CEO of WeCann, a consulting firm in the cannabis industry, remarked that the Oxnard license, which could have previously commanded a price of up to 3 million dollars, is now being offered at a staggering low of 35 thousand dollars, reflecting a dramatic decline in value; however, broker Meilad Rafiei affirmed to SFGATE that the seller is prepared to forgo any cash in the deal and added, “From day one I was advising the license holders that I was uncertain about the existence of any value here.
