The evolution and purge continue. The strong will survive, the mismanaged and weak will be consumed. Ohio is in – Now the Feds want a piece.
It was said that Michigan was one of the top cannabis sales states and was said to sell more than California back in June 2024 according to the Detroit Free Press (News Links Below).
But September 2024 saw a significant drop in Michigan’s legal marijuana market, with sales falling nearly 10 percent as the summer came to a close (Links Below).
Michigan dispensaries employ a lot of people and pay hefty taxes. The consumer pays a hefty tax also. As the marijuana industry evolves so will employment numbers and tax dollars…Obviously. So up or down – Who knows. Someone knows.Whose in control? Not “the people” anymore.
Ohio Cuts in on Sales
With Ohio taking over a corner cutting in on the sales and distribution of the cannalords in Michigan, plus too much weed, The price is dropping.
The total sales for the month reached 266.9 million dollars, a stark decline from the record-setting 295.4 million dollars achieved in August.
Here Come the Feds
Now the feds could muscle in on the action and force their preference upon the industry, which will just ruin it. Don’t worry they will probably bail it out with your money – like they do.
It will probably be sold by the pack in gas stations because they may not be selling gas for too much longer.
